Re: Salary questionFrom: R. Berg (robert.berg@nyu.edu)Sun Sep 25 20:56:36 2005
If that's what you're paying, *I'll* come work for you. In Manhattan, new grad generalist in private practice would see about 70-75% of that (I currently don't make anywhere near that). Then again, malpractice here is about 110K (full occurrence premium, less for the first few years), and rent, I imagine, is a little more (office rents range from $20 (nice neighborhood, dumpy office) to over $85 (very near or at the hospital, full service bldg) per square foot. I guess that's what you deal with if you'd rather live in the big city than in big sky country. What are you paying to ward off the evil horde out in MT? What does space go for there?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
