It was a planned elective c-section. If she was in labor, it was not for very long, as the baby was born just a few hours after she arrived at the hospital. And for those of you (Joe) who think that otherwise healthy, middle class, normal-weight people don't get NF after clean surgeries or trivial skin breaks, check this out:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
