Re: Informed ConsentFrom: Garry E. Siegel, M.D. (garrys@mindspring.com)Fri Sep 16 21:27:39 2005
FWIW, Georgia has a pretty specific informed consent law. In 1989, the Georgia Ob/Gyn society developed specific consents from a central mandated template (as required by law) for many procedures, and most of us use them. If you wish, I can email them (probably 10 to 15 in number) privately, or put them on a CD and mail. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
