X-Mailer: 9.0 SE for Windows sub 5016 I have been attending the annual meeiting of the Georgia OB/GYN Society. Today, Tom Nolan of the LSU OB/GYN Dept., New Orleans spoke. Understandibly, he was overcome with emotion (sorry el!) when he talked about Nola. However - he did make the following jokes in the face of this tragedy: 1) Reporter to George Bush: Mr. Bush, what do you think about Roe vs. Wade? Mr. Bush: Any which way you can leave Nawlins, is OK by me! 2) The Louisiana biyou elderly couple went to their GP for their annual check-up: Budreaux went first. The doc said; "How are you doing?". ' Doctor, I'm blessed, the Lord helps me even when I go to the bathroom. First he switches on the light, then when I'm finished, he switches it off". The Doctor finishes his exam. Next, it's Budreaux's wife, Lena's turn. He says: "Lena, I think Budreaux is losing his mind! " "Darn right, doc!", she says. "He's peeing in the refrigerator!" Have a good week-end! The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
