In the US, when Congress ratifies a treaty, the wording of the treaty is codified in U.S. law. So it "becomes" US law just as if Congress made it up and passed it de novo.

Just an aside - Congress doesn't ALWAYS adopt the law word for word from the other countries' versions. More work for International Law lawyers. hehe

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
