Doctor Joe has been devastated by Katrina. He has not declared the personal impact that this has had on him and his family, his property and his on-going welfare. I dread to contemplate. I would like to make a personal contribution to his sole benefit. This msg is posted to explore the establishment of a fund and clearing house for any forum members of like mind. Perhaps Dr. Klein or Dr. Braun would accept a fiduciary role to receive contributions and direct them to Dr. Joe. If either accepts, a mailing address is needed. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
