There is absolutely no control over what happens. We quit doing nipple stim CST's because of all the episodes of uterine hypertonus, resulting in severe prolonged fetal decels. It causes uterine contractions. Whether or not it induces labor depends on whether you are willing to continue it long enough for the contractions to do anything. But again no control over what is happening.
