Re: caulophyllum thalictroides tablets+ IOLFrom: R. Daniel Braun (rd.braun@gmail.com)Wed Aug 17 06:59:19 2005
It drives me nuts when ANYONE does these things to a patient with a live baby. There is absolutely no control over what happens. We quit doing nipple stim CST's because of all the episodes of uterine hypertonus, resulting in severe prolonged fetal decels. It causes uterine contractions. Whether or not it induces labor depends on whether you are willing to continue it long enough for the contractions to do anything. But again no control over what is happening. Dan

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
