This is used in forms of either tincture, herbal or homeopathic. It is widely used in by midwifery clients. I am sure that many of the midwives on this list use this regularly(speak up timid people!!) and just like any other drug originally formed from herbs/plants ie valuim, and many more there are appropriate amounts usages, ect as well as side effects. I know that some of our local OB's are also familiar with caulophyllum here.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
