I guess the question becomes, do I trust my "routine" ultrasound enough to assume that this is an isolated finding? In this specific case, the triple marker is still pending, the patient was seen in the Azores (tiny island off Portugal) and the request for Level 2 was made to a base on the East Coast. So, there are some logistical hurdles to cross, but I'm not sure if we can comfortably rule out an anomaly with a screening ultrasound.

Most resolve by 32-36 weeks. Isolated cysts not associated with clinical

problems or syndromes ie trisomy 13 or 18.Reassur patinet. Repeat at 36 weeks. andy
