I have been terrible in keeping up the last few months, and resolved to go through a stack of many months of JAMA, NEJM, Contemporary Ob/Gyn, Ob/Gyn News, and OBG management.

I'm happy to report that, while sitting on the beach and/or pool during vacation, I've skimmed through most.

It is fascinating how redundant the Ob/Gyn throw-aways are.

It is depressing how malpractice, the concept of a laborist, poor matching, and the trend towards sub-specialization will make us all dinosaurs.

However, since no one in their right mind will go into Ob anymore, maybe there is job security after all :).

Garry, just plugging along

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
