In order to know the risk of trisomy associated with choroid plexus cyst, you need to first assess your patient's a prior risk ( usually the combo of age and triple screen or the first trimester combined age, NT and serum.) Second, you need to look for associated anomalies and/or markers. I would think your request for a so-called "level 2" ultrasound ( genetic sonogram) seems very appropriate.
