Not entirely Dan - everyone knows a 12 weeker cannot survive - you however must document your "screening exam" and reasons for not proceeding with resuscitation. If a 12 weeker comes out with a heart beat or movements "All efforts must be made to sustain its life(?) as long as possible" That is according to my understanding of the law. Help me out if I am wrong. Dan On 7/27/05, Larry Glazerman <l.glazerman@rcn.com> wrote: Viability at 20 weeks????????? Larry R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
