Re: OB: Pregnancy 'wheels'

I use Pregwheel, a freeware program for PDA's that use the Palm OS. If you ask a few people you will find someone who can beam it to you, or you can download it here:

I like Pregwheel because I don't have to worry about misprinted wheels or ones with a loose hub (or the fact that it's getting harder and harder to count those tiny lines now that I'm over 50). I have seen wheels that can be off by as much as 3 or 4 days from each other. My partner and I stick with pregwheel and our dates always agree with each other. The only thing pregwheel won't allow you to do is to input a gestational age on a specific reference date (as from an ultrasound report) and get a due date off of it. I keep a wheel in my desk drawer for when I'm reading U/S reports, and check the date on Pregwheel once I get it.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
