I know this is probably puritanical and provincial, but having the patient's

father in the room during delivery gives me a king-sized case of the willies. The same goes for brothers. Mothers, sisters, husbands, friends, whatever is just fine. But I can't get past the aversion to male relatives.

Am I the only one?
