Left-handed learnersFrom: Cheri Van Hoover (cherivh@xdcr.com)Tue May 31 23:15:56 2005
We currently have a left-handed midwifery student. Are any of you lefties, or have you had the experience of teachng left-handed students (residents, med students, midwifery students)? If you're left-handed, how did you make the necessary modifications in instrument-handling and delivery techniques? And if you've assisted left-handed learners, as a right-handed person, how did you examine your own actions and adjust them for the leftie? Thanks so much for any tips you can provide. Our student thanks you and her preceptor does, too.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
