Well, I was looking up in reference to el's Countries infant mortality rates and was happy to find an 2004 chart, but if I was to make a point,(which I wasn't, just sharing information) I guess that it would be that the top Countries have 70% midwifery care and the other 30%, high risk left to the Obstetricians. I think that Dr. Wagner, WHO quoted, the top 7 Countries had midwives as primary care providers during pregnancy when he spoke here recently.
