Jane Wines RN RM BSc (1st class Hons) experienced in helping women birth their babies in both hospital and home. Since when were the only proffessionals OB's? 70% of women in the UK and higher in some other countries have midwives and never see Drs and the mortality and morbidity is lower than in the US. OB's should be saved for high risk and complications only. Hoping to goodness that you are just winding everyone up and not for real. Jane

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
