I talked to one of my anesthesiologist by phone and she sees no EBM to support the discontinuation of Pit – she sometimes asks for the discontinuation (few minutes in fact) if she feels the patient is restless an uncooperative because of “stronger” UC’s? due to Pitocin? I’l keep picking the brains..

And accrue what I hear into myself...and let sounds

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
