Jeez this group is very touchy. But for your information the siting of an epidural can make the fetal heart decelerate therefore it might be reasonable to switch the pitocin off. Boy am I glad I practise midwifery-led, woman-centred care in the UK. And not the crap I see on TV every day with ALL women on their backs with syntocinon running. I shall wait a while before leaving the group in case any of you want to defend your doctor-led,centred care!! Gail

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
