That said, I reiterate, Home Delivery is for Pizzas.

But Home BIRTH is for normal sensible women who can make up their own minds as to safety and risk, supported by well qualified and experienced practitioners in normal birth. I would imagine in Namibia there is a fair amount of 'home' births without any medical assistance - maybe you have been jaded by seeing those women for whom it was not a good experience? Hospital 'delivery' is common, in some places hospital 'birth' is not. Jane RN/RM

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
