Actually you need 13 NuvaRings (there are 13 sets of 4 weeks in a year). Still a definite difference in the copays. If I am doing the continuous with pills I tell the patient to be sure to go for the mail in "3 month supply" option. Then she can get the 4 packs for 12 weeks for the 3 month co-pay. As medical / continuous therapy. Joanne

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
