Is everyone using amp and emycin IV for preterm prom for 48 hours??? I was surprised to learn ths at ACOG. We have been simply covering with IV AMP or Pen for 48 hours and switching to po for 7 days. Andy>

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
