Two call nights ago, did a low forceps for a primigravida with fetal tachycardia--all was well. Last call night, did a low forceps with rotation (OP +2, Kiellands) for an arrest of descent, meconium, in a primigravida who had pushed without conduction anesthesia for 2 hours and was getting nowhere. Both babies fine--good apgars, etc. Maybe we should simply section everyone unless the baby falls out first :). Garry -- Garry E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
