The humour lies in the intense naivete in making the jump from someone who has seen it all before, wants to check the baby out, satisfy herself that all is well and then have a rest while the baby goes through the post delivery procedures to someone who is rejecting the baby and needs "psychobabblespeak" like the use of nouns as verbs and charting a patient's own opinion - to what end?. "Dialogue" is a noun and so is "advocate", unless it is used as an active transitive. What you say doesn't make you a depressive. Though perhaps being a depressive might make you say certain things. Beware of making a symptom into a diagnosis. At the risk of starting a flame war - the difference between a nurse and a doctor is that a doctor is trained to make diagnoses.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
