Re: Breast cancer and Atrophic VaginitisFrom: Marie Harkins (mharkins@twcny.rr.com)Thu May 5 04:18:25 2005
Our local oncologists say that there is less systemic absorption with E-string vs Vagifem. The problem I have seen has been insertion of the E-string in the presence of severe atrophy. Does anyone else have any experience with this? On another note, women on E-string have not been able to fill their prescriptions because of a shortage. None of our pharmacies have been able to get it.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
