the profit margin for the small mom n pop pharmacy is virtually nonexistent as the CVS's, Walgreens', etc have almost bulk purchased them into extinction. regarding the profits in the chains, it's almost at the point that pharmaceuticals are a lost leader - the profit is in the other stuff they sell.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
