Has anyone done any research on this MRI guided focus ultrasound machine for soft tissue masses? Currently it is FDA approved for fibroids, but breast should be right around the corner. The reason why I ask is that in SF at ACOG I will be supporting a booth for a company that is partnering with physicians to put together these centers, called Sound Medical Solutions. We plan to sponsor the dinner on Monday that Gordon has set up, if that is okay, and would love to have another dinner on Tuesday. If anyone is interested let me know privately or publicly.

Sorry if this sounds like an advertisement but I just wanted to get the word out to the listers, and initiate a discussion about the technology.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
