Re: SOS Bakri Tamponade BallonFrom: RModugno@aol.comFri Apr 8 16:37:31 2005
In a message dated 4/8/2005 2:12:09 PM Eastern Standard Time, rd.braun@gmail.com writes: Blood started and US reveals lge amount of Clot? Placenta? ????? in uterus. And, ofcourse Dan, you knew this was clot and not placenta, as you removed it at C.Section. Fortunately color flow/power doppler can differentiate - but many radiologists don't know this. Good case for Bakri Balloon. it should be on all L&D units.IMHO Robert Miodugno MD MBA FACOG Marietta, GA

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
