Siegel, M.D.: "Re: Glyburide" Steve, I checked the most recent ADA Clinical Practice Recommendations and the Position Statement on Gestational Diabetes in addition to the Paper on Tests for Glycemia. I can't find any recommendation for 1 hr testing. There are values noted for fasting, 1 hr, or 2 hr that would warrant the start of insulin.
