Hello posters,

We received an email notifying us that our very own Don Shuwarger has been named a recipient of the "Doctor of the Year" award for 2004 and that he will be presented with the award by Geoge W. Bush.

I have been searching and searching for information on this and lo and behold, the USA seems to be the only country not issing any press about this. The Middle East, UK and other countries (as well as specific medical specialties) have all issued press releases through the AP regarding their award recipients.

Do any of you have any information on this event and award? If so, please send information to Lea@obgyn.net so we can properly congratulate Dr. Shuwarger.

Thanks!!

Lea

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
