Re: Normal delivery and uterine rupture after c-sectionFrom: Steve & Eryl Raymond (eryl@intekom.co.za)Sat Feb 26 03:13:52 2005
Don't be fooled into thinking she is going to continue to get better. If there is clot (I presume "cloth" is just a typo for "clot") in the region of the C/S scar, there is a big chance it will become infected and she will bleed again and again until something is done about haemostasis. If you are going to observe, act on a rising temperature, be prepared to act within an hour of the next bleed, and be prepared for a rotten gangrenous lower segment which will necessitate a hysterectomy. I speak from painful experience. Steve Raymond Ricardo Francalacci Savaris wrote:

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
