Not being snippy - just a language thing - put it down to my being a Brit by origin and thinking that the trial you meant was the TBT - feeling suitably sheepish. Its interesting about the lawyers, and yes I think that North American obstetrics is led by lawyers not always obstetricians. But when is the day that women are going to use the rest of the evidence to argue that the CS they had was un-needed intervention - that the scar that now governs the rest of their obstetric history may not have been needed. And as someone who has witnessed vaginal breech births - where is the sense in scared residents doinga CS on a multip with the buttocks nearly on the perineum. It could be said that sectioning a breech provides an easier option than learning the appropriate skills. It will be sad if all the interest is from Europe.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
