High Court Declines to Hear Case on 'Choose Life' License Plates The Associated Press The Supreme Court declined without comment Monday to consider whether states may offer plates with anti-abortion messages, leaving lower courts divided over whether programs in a dozen states unconstitutionally restrict dissenting views. The Court's move means that South Carolina will either have to eliminate its "Choose Life" plates or begin offering plates with abortion-rights views. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
