If results are indeterminate one could ratchet up the level of evaluation. I know in my locale, most folks lack adequate health insurance. Those with it have it only under the crazy quilt system our country has of linking insurance to employment, and insurance costs are one of the major reasons why my locale has had the highest umemployment rate in our state recently. The public coffers are already stretched ever so thin for ! Medicaid and Medicare, so any process that cuts to the chase diagnostically cheaply and quickly is worth trying, I think. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
