Re: Merry ChristmasFrom: Joanne Bulley, MD (islesannie@yahoo.com)Sat Dec 25 17:34:58 2004
We had our traditional Candelight service at the Unitarian Universalist church last night (Christmas Eve). Opened the presents to candlelight in our home after that ... because my daughter has a job teaching skiing and worked today. So ... my son (her brother) and I went also. So after a great day of skiing we came home and I fixed the glazed ham and brussel sprouts with cheddar cheese and garlic sauce, my son made the mashed potatoes from scratch and we had that with the home made cranberry juice cocktail. Except for the cranberry juice that I made yesterday - everything else was started around 5 PM. Dishwasher is cleaning up after us. Yum. Joanne. No babies - but I did have to go in to the office on the 24th to review the US report and plan further eval / treatment for a 62 yo with PMB and 19mm endometrial stripe. She is very thin, has Chron's, was on 20mcg ethinyl estradiol until menopause then on FemHRT and now on Vivelle 0.025 with progesterone 50mg daily. So ... should be very very low risk of endometrial hyperplasia or cancer --- but what other thoughts do y'all have for the 19 mm endometrium? I plan a Hysteroscopy / D&C Monday (I offered to do it on the 24th cause she was leaving town on the 27th -- but she asked if she changed her plane reservation could we do it next week!)

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
