Re: HypnobirthFrom: Richard Chudacoff, MD (rchudacoff@mylinuxisp.com)Tue Nov 30 07:38:52 2004
Right, hence the 'very motivated patient.' Unfortunately we live in a society dominated by a very fast internet, DVD, VCR, cable TV: there is no need to wait for anything, therefore the population as a whole, and especially our patients, have no patience. Hypnobirthing may be for some self-aware, outside-the-box couples, but not for the run of the mill.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
