I would not disagree with this. However, while lots of patients come in with a birth plan, or at least an idea of what they desire during labor and delivery, many of the Bradley method patients we have cared for over the years were hostile towards any healthcare providers and outright refused any intervention, even when the life of the baby was in clear danger. These were the patients who would rather allow their baby to die than alter their preconceived birth plans. One Bradley patient actually told me that she would rather have a dead baby than "go against the birth plan her instructer created!" Thanks,
