I thought the original doula concept was to be a psychological support in labor, but my interactions have always been otherwise. I'm sure there are exceptions but time after time, I had to literally argue every point of care. I almost had the feeling that these were people that aspired to deliver babies but weren't able to or willing to put in the training. ************************************************************************ ****** Charlie Chambers

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
