Re: Pregnancy after lapscope gastric bypass/glucose testingFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Tue Nov 23 17:41:44 2004
Try a FBS, 1 or 2 hour postprandial and HgbA1c. I've had three gastric bypasses who have had gestational DM, out of about five. Ronald E. Other than using jelly beans (which may not be any better), any thoughts? I have considered: 1. Fasting glucose 2. Not worrying about it Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
