I can't believe one of you knife happy kooks hasn't said, "When in doubt, cut it out." Seriously, Glen, I tend to agree with Dan--after 3 to 4 hours, if they are regular, go ahead. This might be modified somewhat depending on circumstancees, i.e. who's on call, time of day, availablity of OR/anesthesia, etc. Garry

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
