Mom can push baby out, Doctor can help with vacum, Doctor can help with forceps, Doctor can help with c-section, The possible complications are the same for all of the above. Yes the rates are different. You can not say one methode is better/safer than the others because they are used in different circumstances. There is no Randomized controlled trials comparing the four options, and there never will be.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
