Short of actually writing down time spent (which I have seen done, and sometimes dictate into notes), the length of time spent is based on the actual best estimate by the CNM. I fully understand what you've said, and am confortable coding as I suggested. Your insight is welcome.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
