Not trying to accuse you of being stupid. Our risk management department is in house. It's also headed by a CNM/JD. We communicate with them frequently. No paperwork is required, particularly no incident report. They just give advice, and make suggestions re documentation. I once sent home a fully dilated multip at term. We had *lots* of phone calls back and forth that weekend! So, what happened to this woman?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
