I fully expect to do this vaginally, but, as we know, not every ovary can come out vaginally. She absolutely wants the ovaries out. Of course, I could start with a laparoscope and disconnect the ovaries, and then go below. However, I would prefer to go vaginally, and, if necessary, put a scope in at the end to disconnect the ovaries and then remove them vaginally. In order to keep a pneumoperitoneum, I could close the cuff, and open it to get the ovaries out after the scope. However, I've heard blurbs about putting a couple of laps in a plastic bag, etc., to "seal" the vagina. Anyone have practical advice on how to do this with readily available stuff? Garry -- Garry E.
