Re: Number of casesFrom: Braun, R. Daniel (rbraun@iupui.edu)Tue Aug 31 07:23:21 2004
Not to mention the huge number of "OB-GYN's" out there doing those procedures. In the old days, when I was a resident, the average OB-GYN did 2 hysts a week & 25 deliveries a month. Not because there were more of them to do, but because there fewer of us doing them. We also were not doing "Primary care" then either, because we were busy doing OB-GYN. Why, because there were fewer of us. R. Daniel Braun, MD "If everyone likes you, you're doing something wrong." Kinky Friedman I believe a self-righteous liberal or conservative with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
