Re: The Patch - humorFrom: ainsron (ainsron@sbcglobal.net)Thu Aug 19 11:20:40 2004
Speaking of the patch, two Norwegian athletes were disciplined by the IOC for wearing their BC patches in a prominent location. Apparently they were paid by the manufacturer to wear them conspicuously, which violates the athletes' code of not wearing advertisements for commercial products. I assume it must have been Ortho Evra, unless there is some other BC patch in Europe. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
