.. Woman Sent to Jail for Smoking Around Kids The Associated Press A Caroline County, Va., woman was sentenced Thursday to 10 days in jail for defying a court order not to smoke. Domestic Relations District Judge John H. Thomas last year barred Tamara Silvius, 44, from lighting up around her children, now ages 8 and 10, as part of her shared custody arrangement with her ex-husband. She was back in court Thursday for violating the order a second time. Silvius, a pack-a-day smoker, claims the restriction violates her rights. http://www.law.com/jsp/article.jsp?id=1090180351251

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
