And those ceiling lights aren't any good for looking into a vagina to repair lacerations even if they are focussed. We still frequently end up getting a "Goose neck" lamp to repair vaginal & Cervical lacerations Dan "Sound is like water. LDRP We put in LDRPs about ten years ago. Doctors like them, Nurses like them and the patients love them. Nursery is only used for problem newborns. Occasionally we have to move couplets out to our postop/gyn rooms to make room for additional laboring patients. Our only wish is that we had built a bigger unit at the time. The only mistake we made in the design was the ceiling lights are not very easily focused. Ronald E. We are having the perennial argument about LDR's versus LDRP's. Could y'all supply your experiences and opinions regarding the two options. Further, if anybody has any resources for available studies looking at the differences, I would greatly appreciate it - I did a medline and came up empty. Lynn Lynn D. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
