We put in LDRPs about ten years ago. Doctors like them, Nurses like them and the patients love them. Nursery is only used for problem newborns. Occasionally we have to move couplets out to our postop/gyn rooms to make room for additional laboring patients. Our only wish is that we had built a bigger unit at the time. The only mistake we made in the design was the ceiling lights are not very easily focused. Ronald E. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
