Re: Electronic Medical Record (EMR)From: Jay Kulkin (jkulkin@mindspring.com)Wed Jun 30 09:06:46 2004
EMR's are awesome at many different levels. Care quality, time management and cost are all improved. Lab interface is incredible as ar ethose with the pracitce management system. There are many EMR's out there and let the buyer beware. Software salespeople and companies not too much different from used care salesman...I strongly suggest an independent consultant/network developer be in the loop as you study the players. It's well worth the money and time. JK Jay M. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
